Quotation Number

Quotation Numbers are generated automatically in M-SHIP. The following shows the format:

Q + Logged in User Port Code + YY + MM + 4 Digit Sequential Numbers

Quotations have various status to indicate the different stages of the quotations:

Pending: First stage of quotation. Once the quotation has been created, this quotation will be set as Pending and will be routed to an approving officer for processing. This quotation may still be edited at anytime until it has been processed.
Accepted: One of the end stages of quotation. This quotation may be used in subsequent jobs and can be printed and downloaded.
Rejected: One of the end stages of quotation. This quotation may not be used for any other purposes.
